In this secular world, there are still some people who think that they can make people fool easily. They just play smart and try to play with nostalgic lovers in this secular and pop culture. There are still some stories like White Lady and Slender Man copy-pasting everywhere, but what about Teresa Fidalgo story, which is spreading like the wind on the internet?
Today I am going to tell you the whole story and its truth. If you want to know the truth and also if you ignore that message, your mom will be killed or not? Just stay with me.
This all started with a quote which says:
“I am Teresa Fidalgo and if you don’t post this on 20 other photos I will sleep with you forever,” the quote spammed at the bottom of thousands of Instagram pictures this week somewhat ambiguously warns.
“A girl ignored and her mom died 29 days later. You can even search me on google.” (sic)
This quote is spreading on the internet like wind, and I know you also came here after reading that quote. Don’t worry; I’ll tell you the whole truth. Before figuring out, it is true or not; let’s first talk about the history of the story.
Teresa Fidalgo History:
So this story was started with a car accident on 23 March 1983 in a city of Portugal named Sentra. The accident states that there were four passengers, including two females, and two males were in the car. Of which, 3 of them died, and one of them survived. One of the girl’s names was Teresa Fidalgo, and the one who survived name was David. Later in 2014, video footage came out on the internet and spread like the wind (the footage is given below).
Accident in Footage:
According to footage, there were three passengers (2 males one male) driving on a remote location in the night. The road was empty, and the passengers were talking about ghosts and scared stories. While talking, they sight a girl walking beside the car on the footpath.
The girl was looking good, They offer her lift, and the girl takes it. After some time, they start talking. The face of the girl point on the point of the road where she died, and when the camera flashes on her face, her face looks bloody, the girl attacks on the passengers, and the footage end here.
The subtitles state that two passengers (one male and one female) died in the incident. One man who was recording the footage named David Rebardao luckily survived, but he was not able to explain what exactly happened that night.
Just like other White lady stories, this story is also linked with a real car accident. The Portuguese police confirmed that a girl named Teresa Fidalgo died precisely on the same road back in 1983.
Teresa Fidalgo Video:
One person commented on the footage: “This is real. Two people I know we’re driving at the same time and saw this girl in the white dress. Cross the road or try to commit, but some guy pulled her off the road. Then they said the police came and as they did a U-turn. To see what was going on, the girl and the guy and the police disappeared. Now, as they were telling a friend and me, my friend told them about this video and described the girl, and they said it was her..”
Reality of Teresa Fidalgo:
You read the whole story. Right? What if I tell you that what you read is not true? You are surely going to kill, but the reality is that the entire story is fake and just scripted, and it is just a short film. You can say the footage or video is true, but the story you read or watch in the video is fake.
This short film was presented by a Portuguese director and producer name David Rebardao. Yes, the same game guy who survived in the accident. The story was produced in 2013 and released in 2014 by David Rebardao himself on his youtube channel. He named this short film as “A Curva”.
In his interview with a national TV channel, he convinced that the video was a short film. He stated that it was a scripted story which was shot during the shooting of one of his movie.
Now you will say if the story is fake, then tell me what about the messages which are spamming the whole internet?
The answer to this question is that when the story is fake, then how can the messages related to a fake story be true? Yes, the messages are also fake, and it is just stunt by some senseless people, and innocent people like you and me are sharing it because of our nostalgia.
It is just a matter of common sense which needs to prevail in order to stop these fake stories and messages.
In the end, I just want to tell you that you and your family are 100% safe, and you don’t need to share these nonsense messages. And if you will not share it, Teresa Fidalgo will not sleep beside you on your bed. You don’t need to be scared to share these messages, as this is fake.
One more thing, David Rebardao is pleased with the popularity of his first short film. He created one more short film named Teresa Fidalgo Strikes Again in Teresa Fidalgo series. I want to tell you it is also fake and if someone shares it with you. Just use your common sense and also tell them that this is fake.
In the end, just use your common sense and be aware!
